Hi ladies! Today I am excited to bring you Part 2 of the White Series with Kate from For the Love of Fancy and Dana from Pink Champagne Problems! Yesterday, Kate have us some inspiration for adding white pieces of furniture to our decor for a bright, clean look, and today, I’m going to share some outfit inspo for your Memorial Day Weekend!
I’m normally not one to break too many fashion rules, but the “No white before Memorial Day” is at the top of my list of offenses! It’s a little unclear to me why this is a rule, but it seems to be the rule that is most often disregarded. Regardless of whether or not you have committed any “offenses”, this weekend is the perfect time to go all out, or White Out!
When I think of White Out, this scene from Gossip Girl immediately comes to mind. How awesome would it be to host a party where the dress code was white clothing affair? Well, you don’t need to be Blair Waldorf to need an excuse to go all out, nor would it require spending a lot, if any, money on your outfit!
Other than the seersucker shorts, all of the items I pulled have been in my closet for quite some time, and if you’ll notice, are practically wardrobe staples. A pair of red pumps, a white blouse, wide belt, and crossbody bag are all pieces that are considered wardrobe staples because they can form the bases for many outfits in your arsenal. One could easily trade out the tank top for a long sleeved button down and pair it with a wide belt to give it a peplum-like structure. Want to go all-white for your outfit instead of the pops of color? Pair a button down or a flowy top with these white seersucker shorts from Target and finish the look with these adorable wedges!

White Out: Casual

White Out: Pool PartyLooking for something a bit dressier?

White Out: Formal Affair

No matter what your plans are for this weekend, pool party, backyard barbecue, or brunch and cocktails, white is the perfect way to usher in the beginning of summer.  I think I really like the all-white trend!

Stop by tomorrow to see some fabulous foodie ideas for your weekend shindig from Dana!

Stay Classy!
