Teams are made up of individuals. Without them, there is no team.

After deciding to run my first half marathon as my “comeback” to competitive running, I started doing a few runs with Team in Training Staten Island. Just after two long runs with the Team, I knew I needed to be part of it. The passion my coaches have, the willpower my teammates have, and the strength in numbers all led me to believe that this was the Team I wanted to be part of.

Our goal is to run as many miles as we can till we find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. I refuse to let these diseases continue to take the lives of our loved ones. And once we accomplish that goal, I know it will spread to beating all forms of cancer. I’ve committed myself to crushing miles, but now I need your help.

Cancer isn’t an easy monster to defeat. But, there is strength in numbers. I truly believe that. If you donate (anonymous or not), whether it’s $1 or $1000, towards my goal – I will do the rest of the work. Any amount helps, and any amount you donate makes you part of the cure.

If you cannot donate, please help spread the word – I need all the support and encouragement I can get!
