STEP IT UP

I’ve been training for my half marathon for a week now, and I am feeling better than ever! So far I’ve done:

 – Two 3 mile runs
– Cross-trained
– A 2.6 mile run
– Two 4 mile runs

This week my mileage slightly increases, and I am excited to step up my game – hopefully get back to where I used to be (as far as being able to easily run long distances). Since my long runs, I’ve gotten super excited about this half marathon. Running through the streets of Washington DC is going to be so awesome. For now, I’ve been running through Arlington – which is hard considering everywhere I turn is some sort of hill or incline! I think this is the best way possible to get to remember the city I’ve called my second home for four years. It’s definitely bittersweet.

Any other half-marathoners out there have any tips?
